The honeybee populations have faced massive collapses around the world and are even on the endangered species list. This song is a conservation hymn to raise awareness of Colony Collapse Disorder, the scientific term for the loss of bee life. However, it has been proven that a specific pesticide called neonicotinoids is the culprit. France banned neonicotinoids and their honeybee populations rebounded within a year! We MUST protect our friend the honeybee, who is so very taken for granted. The more I learn about this selfless creatures, the more they fascinate me.

As Albert Einstein warned: "If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man."
